Help Heal Veterans (Heal Vets), the nation’s leader in therapeutic craft kits for veterans and active-duty service members, will host a community open house Nov. 6 from 2-6 p.m. Guided by the belief that Creativity Heals, Heal Vets invites the community to learn how craft therapy supports veterans healing from the visible and invisible wounds of war.

The day will feature:

The unveiling of a powerful art installation. “The Healing Journey” illustrates a service member’s journey of service, struggle, and healing and how creativity can play a vital role in recovery.

Tours of Heal Vets’ craft kit manufacturing facilities.

Hands-on craft workshops.

Live music from the American Patriot Music Project.

Food trucks (proceeds benefiting Heal Vets).

Veteran Service Organizations, NAMTA, and corporate sponsors including Southwest Airlines and Starbucks.
