The 2026 Southern California Homebrewers Festival (SCHF), the state’s premier gathering for amateur zymurgists, will return to the Vail Lake KOA Resort in Temecula on May 1–2, 2026.
Now in its third decade, the Southern California Homebrewers Festival holds the distinction of being the oldest ongoing homebrew festival in the nation. This year, the festival adopts an "Island Theme," featuring tropical-inspired brews and elaborately decorated club booths.
In accordance with California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) regulations, SCHF is a private event. Attendance is exclusive to active members of the California Homebrewers Association. Membership is open to all individuals aged 21 and older, regardless of brewing experience.
Tickets: Membership and festival passes must be purchased online in advance.
Registration closes April 29, 2026. Visit calhomebrewers.org for details.
On Saturday the festival will be held from 11am-9pm.
The Grand Tasting (Saturday, May 2): Over 30 booths will feature hundreds of unique beers, meads, and ciders crafted by CHA-affiliated homebrew clubs.
Live Music: The vibes continue Saturday night with performances by Finding Emo, Those Guys, and Woody and the Harrelsons.
Food Trucks: A curated selection of the region’s best food trucks will be on-site Friday and Saturday to provide diverse dining options.
