Twenty entrepreneurs will bring their wares to market for the first time

The Randall W. Lewis Center for Entrepreneurship’s Entrepreneurial Resource Center (ERC) has partnered with Made Local Market to showcase graduates of the Thriving at the Marketplace, Ready, Set, Retail! and SBDC Eats programs and sell their products in a marketplace setting for the first time. Twenty graduates of the programs have established their retail or food-based businesses and will be participating in Menifee Foodie Friday September 5th from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m.

The addition of Made Local Market as a new ERC community service affiliate partnering organization opens the door for more entrepreneurs to bring their product to the marketplace. Made Local supports small businesses by creating community markets and growth opportunities.

"We’re proud to join forces with the ERC to support entrepreneurs and bring new ideas to life,” said Abby Jacobs, Co-Founder of Made Local. “Watching small businesses thrive is the best part of what we do.”

In addition to the food vendors and shopping, attendees at Menifee Foodie Friday will enjoy jumpers, beer garden, live music, kid activities, and more. The event and parking are free.

Menifee Foodie Friday is presented by Made Local Market in partnership with the City of Menifee at Mt. San Jacinto College, 28237 La Piedra Road in Menifee. Vendors interested in participating are encouraged to apply online at madelocalmarket.org.

Thriving at the Marketplace, Ready, Set, Retail! and SBDC Eats are powered by the RLCE's top business assistance programs; the Women’s Business Center and the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center which focus on training and counseling businesses to make their first sales.

Support organizations interested in providing services at the ERC can apply online at: entre.csusb.edu/content/ERCapp.
